Hi, I’m Miranda. I make keepsakes from the clothes people can’t bear to part with.
I sew memory bears, pillows, quilts, and stuffed animals from fabrics and garments that carry someone’s story. Each piece is cut and stitched by hand here in Highlands Ranch, CO, and I treat every shirt, dress, or jacket as if it were my own family’s.
How I got started
I started quilting in 2020 to donate to the Children’s Hospital. To bring extra joy to the patients’ rooms, I started making various stuffed animals, and I quickly realized the animals could hold sentimental value when custom-made from beloved clothing. I’ve been sewing the memory bears, animals, and pillows for patients, friends, and community members ever since.
In 2026, my little brother passed away. Making memory bears from his t-shirts has allowed me to feel close to him again. I love that I have a little bit of him on my couch, and the shirts remind me of specific times full of love and laughter.
I started RememBear to honor the people and moments that matter, whether that's a life well-lived, a graduation, or a new baby. Your clothing already holds a story. I’d be honored to help you keep it close.
What I believe
- Your fabric is treated with care. I handle every garment as if it’s irreplaceable, because for many people it is. My studio space is pet-free and smoke-free. I photograph each item before I cut, and I can return any unused fabric at your request.
- Each piece is made for you. I don’t mass-produce. You get a keepsake shaped by your garments and your story.
- Your privacy matters. I only share photos of finished work with your permission.
How it works

Share your story
Tell me about the fabrics or garments you have and the keepsake you have in mind. Let’s make an item as unique as the person you’re memorializing. You’ll receive a quote and timeline before any cuts are made.

Crafting magic
After receiving the fabric, either by shipping or dropping off locally, I carefully assemble your memory item. Turnaround time is 2-3 weeks for most items. Quilts take longer, usually 4-6 weeks. I will send confirmation photos once it’s finished.

Treasure forever
I’ll ship it to you (or we can arrange for pick-up, if local). Your item is now ready to hold, display, or pass down.
